How does FSU compare to SEC schools NOT named Alabama? Specifically, what about Florida, Georgia and Auburn? There not be a team in the country that compares to the Bama machine.
There needs to be some reasonable restrictions in the number of these off field coaches. I think they're good for the game, but nobody should have 30 extra coaches.
Jimbo wants more than what he has at present. That's all I know. But I think we have more than most major programs, whatever that means.

ReplyDeleteWell, we are all competing with the best, not the mediocre and that is Bama now. So I think your logic is off.

Agreed there need to be restrictions. But Bama and SEC are running the show now and it is what it is.
DeleteFSU does have more than most....but IF you are a program competing for titles, that isn't the goal. The goal is competing with Bama for titles.
The goal should be to pass NCAA regulation to limit it to 15-20. And then hire the full allotment.
ReplyDeleteYup, but for some reason, nobody is pushing that at all.
