An FSU alum has been in the starting defensive backfield of at least one NFL team every season since 1969 to the present
FSU is one of only 8 teams to have at least 2 Thorpe Award winners. Only OU has had more than 2. The gators have only had 1 Thorpe winner & they shouldn't even have that. He's literally the only Thorpe Award winner to have an asterisk next to his name because he wasn't even a finalist the week of voting & had there not been a revote after 3 finalists pulled their names out because they felt the voting was unfair, was he able to win the award. They really shouldn't have any.
