Doak Update

"The construction will replace about 9,000 bleacher seats, reducing stadium capacity from 82,300 to about 78,000.
The Club will cover four levels and allow fans to experience the game-day atmosphere from different vantage points without losing a view of the field.
It will also be utilized year-around for events like banquets, wedding and business development.
Employing multiple teams of subcontractors and working six, 10-hour days a week, work is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Sept. 2 – eight days before the Seminoles’ home opener against Charleston Southern.
Gassett said crews have been diligent about staying on schedule.
Work started on Monday, Nov. 23, two days after the Seminoles closed out their 2015 seven-game home schedule with a win over Chattanooga.
“The biggest thing is keeping our pulse on the schedule and making sure we are not losing days,” Gassett said.
“If we see that happening, we have to adjust and figure out what we have to do to get back on track.
“Right now, I have no issues.”

Improvements also include the stadium bathrooms, which will be painted and feature new mirrors, seats and fixtures.
Additionally, construction continues on the two elevator-stair towers in the south end zone outside the stadium across from the Unconquered Statue."
