"The negatives far outweigh the opportunities and that means no expansion is on the horizon for the Big XII.
Three years from now that may change. The Big XII will likely be at the center of the coming war between Fox and ESPN for Texas. Those close to the situation tell me that ESPN will make a play to relocated Texas from the Big XII to the ACC with the hope that Notre Dame would join as full member along with the Longhorns.
The general consensus is that ESPN has leverage with Texas because of the Longhorn Network but I’m told that may not be the case. The Longhorns know they could be at the center of a bidding war its possible the Big XII benefits as a result."

And what of the ACC if they lost their crown jewel(FB)? Wouldn't hurt them as bad as B12 losing theirs

Fox is apparently telling UT that the next round of tv will not net the B12 a competitive wage
Big10 looking for the coup d'état. Adding the 2 biggest states in college football terms. But we've heard it all before. What's changed?
I'm hearing lots of whispers that Texas and Fox might be planning a BIG mutiny. A very very lucrative mutiny.
