Is it time for the ACC to sue ESPN to get out of the TV contract? I know for a fact that there's a stipulation that ESPN has to cover every ACC game (OR sell the rights), so I wonder if there is any grounds to claim that ESPN is not "covering" the league adequately?
I doubt it. The ACC honestly did a HORRIBLE job vetting the last TV contract. The only concern seemed to be "don't have us too far behind financially" and "can Mr Swofford's son keep his job." And basically NOBODY in the ACC, ADs/fans/coaches/media seemed to give a damn. Now we are paying the price. I doubt the ACC learned a lesson, if the contract were up for renewal today...none would pay attention.
