Funny that the Dude thinks this "ends the possibility of P5 poaching of other P5 conf." when his own Big XII will not have a network (now or ever as long as there is a LHN). I don't think it ends poaching - it just takes the ACC out of the poachee list. It still leaves the Big XII.
ReplyDeleteAs for whether it will happen... ask yourself this: which is more profitable to ESPN - keeping the ACC on the regular channels or charging everyone an extra buck a month for a new ACC channel? If ESPN is making half the money I think they are with the SECN, they'll want to do it again!
