U of L waiting on stadium expansion study

This school is committed to football.

The ACC fan base often still discusses adding UCONN or basketball schools of that nature in the future.  This article is why the ACC had to add Louisville and MUST understand that future adds need football schools like this.

The ACC lacks fan bases that care about the sport that brings in 80% of the revenue.  Only adds like Louisville that have this kind of fan interest should be considered.  And if there are none....don't add anyone else.

Great job Louisville.

U of L waiting on stadium expansion study

It's not really new news for those of us who follow this stuff every day, but Business First, Louisville's business journal, has a story on its website from Wednesday afternoon saying Louisville is still waiting on the feasibility study commissioned to see if the school can expand Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.
Two weeks ago the university told me the study hadn't been finalized.
Looks like they told Business First the same thing. One nugget that is in there: Johnson Consulting of Chicago is handling the feasibility study.
U of L is trying to figure out if it can expand the north side of the stadium or add seats elsewhere. The move to the ACC paired with another run of success generated the highest season ticket sales numbers in program history this season, with all of the luxury suites at PCJS sold out earlier this year.
