- The Associated Press released its all-time All-American teams for its 100th anniversary.
- The teams feature players with connections to Florida, including Deion Sanders, Sebastian Janikowski and Tim Tebow.
- Derrick Thomas from Miami and Ed Reed, a Miami Hurricanes standout, are included.
Deion Sanders was one of the greatest talents the NFL has ever seen; but his talents were first on display for Florida State football. The Fort Myers native joined FSU in 1985 and became a starter immediately.
Sebastian Janikowski
Kickers do not get as much love compared to other positions on the football field, but FSU fans loved Sebastian Janikowski.
Janikowski first played for the Seminoles in 1997 and he made his mark early. He made 37 of his 39 extra-point attempts and led the ACC with 16 field goals.
