March, 2013 - UVA opened its indoor practice facility and announced a new $50 million football operations center to open in next few years.
July, 2013 - Florida State opens its new indoor practice facility
January, 2015 - Syracuse opens its new indoor practice facility
September, 2015 - Virginia Tech opens its new indoor practice facility
February, 2016 - Boston College announces plans for a new indoor practice facility
September, 2016 - Miami announces plans for a new indoor practice facility, expected to be completed in 2018
February, 2017 - Clemson scheduled to open its new $55 million football complex

GT, Louisville, NC ST, and WF have one, Pitt shares one with the Steelers, and UNC is building one slated to open in 2018 as well.

Louisville isn't renovating their indoor facility but they are renovating their football building as part of the stadium expansion. For example, they are doubling the size of the weight room, players lounge, adding additional meeting rooms & a theater. It should all be done by the start of the 2018 season.

  1. I researched the date of the Duke facility - it was completed on August of 2011 (3 years after Cutcliffe arrived), making it the first "full length Division 1 college football indoor practice facility in North Carolina and the ACC." I was surprised it's been around that long. Duke may have actually pushed the other schools to build, rather than following them...?
