Future of FSU baseball & FOF?

All just a dream for FSU, but what this thread doesn't say is that the most likely scenerio for a Football Only Facility (FOF) is for Moore to be renovated.  I believe if done well, is the best option for FSU, but I still dream of FSU make the move below for the baseball facility.

Future of FSU FOF?

I have an extremely reliable person I have known for a long time tell me moving Howser is back on the table. Was told this last week. I don’t want to divulge too much and compromise their identity but there is some really cool stuff being talked about right now. I fully believe Howser will be moved to the IM fields. Believe me, don’t, I don’t care, just don’t @ me bro

Whatever FSU does, the goal is to do something that has lasting power. Doesn’t just satisfy the momentary need.

Moving Howser to collegetown with the outfield facing madso/recess would also instantly create one of the best game day environments in college baseball

Warwick has already sat down with Coburn. The plan is to let the coaches coach one spring to get a better feel for existing facilities, flow etc. Then revisit the drawings after spring to see what, if any, changes need to be made. FSU is fully committed to getting this built. They were about $10 million short from being able to break ground on $60 million "Taggart" FOF.

Topic will be revised after the spring and discussed with Norvell to see what he wants. Honestly, it's not a huge priority despite what Jimbo kept insisting.

Think there's a decent chance they might decide to upgrade Moore instead of building a new standalone complex. The standalone would be build in an odd location, cost more and duplicate much of what they already have in Moore. Really doesn't make any sense to build a new building but it was pushed forward that way because of Jimbo thought it was so important. Not sure the current staff or admin feels that way.

Who all uses the current facility? If Moore is upgraded for a "football only facility" will or where should the other facility be erected?Tully. If FSU decided to go this route, it would overhaul/upgrade both Moore and Tully. Haven't seen the numbers but I've been told this option could be accomplished for the same total price tag, if not less, than just building just the standalone football complex.

So Moore option is upgrade for Tully also?Don't have all the answers since much of this is still TBA and as of right now the original plan of a standalone is still option A. But my understanding is that if they were to do it at Moore, then the Olympic Sports would move to Tully and it would also be massively overhauled (Needed anyway).

Those of you that think it's a cheap cop out to upgrade Moore instead of doing the standalone couldn't be more wrong. From what I've heard it would look incredible (better than the standalone) and have some amazing features including a huge recruiting deck under the scoreboard overlooking Doak.
