Florida State's path to a second straight National Championship begins this weekend as one of the four No. 1 seeds for the eighth time in program history.

With another No. 1 seed, the Seminoles have been a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament eight times in head coach Mark Krikorian's 15 seasons atop the program. All eight of those times have been in the last 11 years.

The No. 1 seed comes with a big advantage as the Seminoles' four matches on the path back to the College Cup will be played in Tallahassee. FSU is 45-1 at the Seminole Soccer Complex in NCAA Tournament history and has advanced to the College Cup the last six times it has been a No. 1 seed.

The NCAA Tournament appearance is FSU's 20th in a row. Since making their first NCAA Tournament in 2000, the Seminoles have not been left out since.
