This is why ESPN was smart to lock in with the SEC and the ACC. More of their money will come from conference & school partnerships

ACC will have no talking heads nor same $. Red headed stepchild

So wrong.

Longhorn network lost 60 million a year but yea ACC network is coming. LoL

Jason was wrong here, the exposure has not been the same nor has the revenue.  He might be in the future, but so far, he is wrong.

It will. And online leveraging puts it in great position for future as well

  1. "you're absolutely wrong. ACC channel will happen, and SECN only brought ESPN $$ in SEC to equal w/ACC"

Maybe I'm reading that wrong? But it sounds like Staples is saying the SECN only brought the SEC on par with the ACC in terms of revenue? In other words, the ACC actually lead, and now (in late 2015) they're tied?

    1. Maybe. I can't tell. I don't get how anyone can be so confident, when A) They aren't clear at all about what they are predicting. B) The contracts surrounding this aren't available C) The industry is changing D) ESPN has never kept ACC in the top revenue range E) The actually revenue gap has taken a huge jump....this continues to be ignored.
