Gaines Street Roundabout

Interesting artwork from an FSU department near the Seminole Boosters "College Town" project.  This area has really blown up.  I think this will improve the area even more.


Iconic Roundabout for Gaines Street Revealed!

"According to the City of Tallahassee and Florida State University Master Craftsman Studio Agreement, proposed is a 22-foot tall dichotic glass art piece in the public right-of-way at the proposed roundabout. The scope of work within the agreement describes the project also containing stainless steel tubing and steel cables with associated LED lighting supported by a 20-foot diameter concrete pad. "

"Gaines Street Reconstruction – Segment 3 consists of installing a roundabout at the intersection of Gaines Street and Woodward Avenue.  Construction of this phase of the project is underway with an anticipated completion in late summer/early fall.  "
