Football Spending in ACC

Great find by ACC Football RX.

https://accfootballrx.blogspot.com/2018/05/spending-to-win.html

Meanwhile, 10 ACC schools, including private outposts Wake Forest, Duke and Miami (Fla.), spent at least double what it spent in 2003. Five schools increased their spending by more than 200 percent over that time (Florida State, Duke, North Carolina State, Clemson and Louisville).

  • Florida State and Clemson have won every ACC title since 2011.
  • Duke did something it never does: play for an ACC championship.
  • NC State has recruited and developed 17 NFL draft picks since 2013
  • Louisville rose from a Conference USA program to the ACC, luring Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson to campus more than 1,000 miles away from his home in South Florida.

The data listed below comes from the most recent Equity in Athletics Data Analysis, which covers the 2016-17 fiscal year, or, the 2016 college football season.
