FSU OL issues wrapped up in a stat

FSU will never be close to 'back' until it fixes it's many issues on the OL, starting with recruiting then S&C, development, & coaching.

ESPN’s stats on YBC go back to 2011 for Power 5 teams. In that span, only 1 other team has ever had less than 200 in a season on 1st & 2nd down vs FBS - the god awful 2014 Wake Forest unit. It had 111 — or 55x as many as FSU did last year.

FSU had 253 designed runs vs FBS on 1st and 2nd down. They miraculously averaged 3.36/carry but 848 of their 850 yards came after contact. I literally refreshed my browser and looked again because I figured that couldn’t be right. It might be the craziest stat I’ve ever seen.
