News will drop soon, if I had to guess and ND will join. ND is making $15 from BBC, while FSU brought in $27 last year. ND will not stand for the gap (it's smaller due to partial ACC membership). TV money has reached a point where ND could make twice what NBC pays them by joining.
I don't think we'll have much heads up either. This will drop, either before this season or next, but without warning. It's how the ACC operates. It will drop and be effective immediately. Dont think you'll see it announced a year or 2 in advance.
