Yes, a combination skybox/office suite is what is envisioned.Are we changing the "look" of the North end zone as well???? Or will that be accomplished by the addition of a new larger scoreboard??? I always thought it looked good but thought it would look even better if between the scoreboard and the top of the coaches offices/boxes there was something more "permanent" than the vinyl tributes to retired numbers.... Also wondered if we could utilize that space on there as well for more seating or boxes??? But I understand the reduction of seats will benefit us more moving forward.Click to expand...
There is room to build an office space on the fourth floor, above the coaches offices and below the lower portion of the video board. Engineers studied the roof structure and the supporting structure of the skyboxes on either side to be sure the structure can support the steel structure for the larger video board and office suite.
While we are not sure exactly how we'll use that space or when, we will build the support structure for the board to accommodate future use as offices, skyboxes or more likely a multi-purpose combination office suite with skybox capability on gameday.
